Brief History
EC Calderon Construction and Development was established by Ezequiel Calderon Sr. in 1954 the year where the petroleum industry boomed. Our notable customers then were Caltex, Standard Oil, Fil-oil (Gulf Oil) and Mobil Oil. The company started with 5 employees with his wife managing the office and admin concerns and him managing the technical and sales and marketing aspect of the business. The first office was situated at Parian,Cebu City, the place then was still un reclaimed and the location is near the port area.
The 2nd Generation of Calderon was assumed by Emmanuel C. Calderon Sr servicing the same customer but with increased technical expertise and years of experience and focusing mainly in the Maintenance of the Oil Depot of Caltex, Petron and Pilipinas Shell. They were able to branch out thier services through the construction of gas stations. The Company have grown from 5 to 60 highly professinal and technical employees servicing major and prestigious Petroleum companies while diversifying to food grade oil of LUDO and LUYM as well as the Gothong conglomorates.
EC Calderon Construction and Development Corp was assumed by the 3rd Generarion of Calderon. The baton of leadership was passed on to Emmanuel Calderon Sr's son Manger V. Calderon way back 2005. With a vision and lofty goals of making the company competitive, made huge changes in improving by purchasing state of the art equipments and tolls, the technology and methods used were upgraded and are at par to the technology and methods used abroad. EC calderon invested a lot in terms of Educatation and training to make everyone competitive.

And recently EC Calderon Construction and Development have diversified its reached to the emerging market/player in the energy sector by tspping into the Renewable Energy Sector making ourselves accredited to the Roxas Holdings Inc., Aboitiz Holdings and SM Holding conglomorates.

Our Services
The general contractor is employed by the client, on the advice of the architect or the architectural technologist. A general contractor must first assess the project-specific documents (referred to as tender documents). In the case of renovations, a site visit is required to get a better understanding of the project. The contractor will then calculate a price, also called an estimate. The general contractor considers the cost of materials and equipment as well as the cost of labor to provide the owner with an approximate price for the project.
Contract documents include a budget, any general and special conditions, and blueprints and specifications prepared by a design professional such as an architect. In many instances the general contractor is the project engineer or project manager for construction projects.
